Ready, set, go!

In the spirit of intentional productivity, we invite you to join us this week in taking on seven tasks you've been avoiding! We call this fun challenge the "Ten Minute Triumph"! We encourage you to look around your house and find one area each day you'd like to tackle.

Will it be your junk drawer? Your sock drawer? Your car? Maybe you’ve been meaning to sweep the porch or beautify and tidy your prayer corner… the possibilities are endless!

All you have to do is identify one thing each day, set a timer for 10 minutes, and get to it. We think you will be amazed at what you can get done! Little victories are so encouraging and lead to other productive choices!

And it's not just our homes that get messy and cluttered; our minds, souls, and schedules can also become cluttered with overthinking, busyness, and distractions. If you want to go a little deeper, here are seven ten-minute challenges to energize and renew your mindset!

1. Wake up ten minutes early and meet Christ in the silence. Invite Him into your day, and release all your worries and uncertainties into His loving care.
2. Pause for ten minutes in your busy schedule to ask a family member, co-worker, neighbor, etc., how they are doing and practice actively listening and responding with love and attentiveness.
3. Take ten minutes before bed to list all the blessings you experienced that day. Dig deep to think of as many as you possibly can. This will help shift your perspective from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset.
4. Take a ten-minute walk and open up your senses to the natural beauty all around you. Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin, hear the birds chirping, see the leaves changing colors.
5. Take ten minutes to set the table before eating. Make it a calm, beautiful space to commune with God, thanking Him for the meal you are about to eat. Slow down to pay attention to the taste and texture of the nourishing food He has created.
6. Take ten minutes to sit down with a cup of tea and read a chapter or passage of an edifying book.
7. Take ten minutes to review your planner. Schedule in your self-care and goals for the week. This will calm your anxious mind and increase your productivity.
It doesn’t take much time to turn your day and mood around! A little intentionality goes a long way toward fostering calm and fruitfulness.
